Agenda
- Update on Roadmap to 3.2
- Update on Roadmap to 3.0
- Update on Roadmap to 3.4
- Bugs needing sign off
- Plan for the next month
- Koha Mission/Community Guidelines
- Adopt/Start with the existing Debian social contract (http://www.debian.org/social_contract) and the Ubuntu code of conduct (http://www.ubuntu.com/community/conduct)
- Koha Newsletter Automation Suggestion
- Problem: the newsletter takes much effort to compile each month.
- Suggested solutions:
- Could reduce newsletter frequency to bi-monthly. Would people miss it?
- Could configure the community website so that at newsletter production time, the newsletter editor tells the site to read in suggested articles to a koha-newsletter-proposed-articles category. The editor then deletes unsuitable articles, reorders articles and copy-pastes the category page into the newsletter with a suitable header/footer.
- Schedule emails soliciting articles before newsletter production time.
- Possible Consequences:
- Contributors would set up a for-koha-newsletter feed on their site (this can be a category in Wordpress)
- Install and configure feedwordpress on the main website
- Schedule emails from the editor (mjr offers to do this)
- Follow-up on actions from General IRC Meeting, 8 December 2010.
- Agree times of next meetings.
