Dear Santa,

  • Up to date MediaWiki so we could have collapsible sections. It would help for complex workflow with condition like for release maintenance.
  • Migration of the translation platform to Weblate to not have anymore the false positive errors
  • Migration from Mailman 2 to not have user passwords stored in plain text
  • Migration from Bugzilla to a forge for various reasons while still having ticket dependency management and ease of being able to takeover someone else old patch submission.
  • Get a decent attendance to patch testing sessions
  • Official OpenSearch support so we can recommend a libre ElasticSearch implementation since ElasticSearch isn't libre anymore (according to Debian, Fedora and the OSI)
  • Find some ways to not recommend non-libre phone apps for 2FA while still addressing the need to not get locked outside when loosing phone.
    • Maybe there is a libre app that offers in a few taps to backup/restore from a server the 2FA secrets?
    • Is that really an big issue at all? Can't librarians ask their colleagues to disable the 2FA and set it up again after? In that case the second factor is actually showing up in person/video call to a colleague, which in the context of a workplace should work good enough to handle the case of phone loss
