Working as an Information Scientist in Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Sunder Singh Tanwar started his carrier in the field of computer science and applications after successful completion of his Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and SCJP (Sun Certified Java Programmer). Later, he decided to change his career path and pursued Bachelor of Library and Information Science, Master of Library and Information Science, UGC NET and completed his Ph.D. in Library and Information Science in 2020. Academically, in his credit, he has more than 15 research papers published in national and international journals. One of his papers was selected and presented in “The 20th International Symposium on Electronic Theses and Dissertations organized by NDLTD and USETDA in August 2017 at Washington DC, United States of America”. He believes in the power of words to induce change personally and globally and have a book chapter, too, in his credit. Besides, he has attended about 15 National and International Workshops, Conferences and Symposiums during his career.

Dr. Singh has good administrative experience and served his university as OSD to VC (Camp Office) for more than 8 years from March 2010 to March 2018. Presently, he is discharging his duties in the capacity of Incharge, IT Division, I/c. Periodical Section, Administrator of Koha LMS Software, and Coordinating eShodhSindhu and Management of various online resources in MDU. As Information Scientist, he has Successfully Completed various projects like Digitization of print Ph. D. theses available in MDU, Library Automation using Libsys7 Software, Implementation of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology in Library Operations, and Setting up of Institutional Repository (IR).
