I'm a digital and reference librarian by qualification. I've worked with TEI and Metadata encoding at NZETC, in information literacy at the ANU, and as a Library/Information Management Professional Development Facilitator/Consultant for CAVAL Ltd. Australia. I've generally mucked about in special and research libraries while writing a (now shelved) PhD thesis on Tolkien's The Silmarillion. Have managed a Special library and am currently working as an Analyst for hire (on contract).
