Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Bidyapeeth (GARB) is a special library located at Dhaka, Bangladesh. Recently it has launched Koha Integrated Library System at Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Bidyapeeth (GARB) for managing resources in digital environment and easy access. In traditional system, members could search and use the GARB catalog only being in the library. But now this system has added a new dimension to GARB for better, faster and reliable service providing. People can browse the collections from anywhere and anytime (24x7) in the country and from abroad as well.

This will allow GARB to cross the regional border and make the resources available for global audience. This system will not only provide the information on the resources available at GARB but also provide some other useful links (i.e. free e-books, open access journals, Library of Congress, Oxford University Press etc.) which the users of GARB may found beneficial. The users can easily get information for the required document/s and search the item with broad range of options i.e. author, title, subject, call no, ISBN etc. We are expecting this will be a great help for the patrons as they can search their desired items online and contact us to book or borrow any item (*conditions applied).

We are still working on updating our Database and our team is trying their best to finish the task as early as possible.

Since this system is open source, it is possible to modify and develop it to further dimensions and the Bidyapeeth team are working on it rigorously. Our team believes that this is a new era for GARB to enter into digital environment which will help to grow the institution globally and through this the ideology, thought, philosophy and knowledge of Professor Abdur Razzaq will be disseminated across the world.
