Linux Kiosk

Building a Linux Web Kiosk (updated Feb 2014)

Using the Ubuntu Linux operating system, Opera browser, Ajenti browser-based system administration panel, and open source Sanickiosk plugins.

To download a ready-to-install disk image visit sanickiosk.org.

Steps

• Read the documentation online at sanickiosk.org.
• Install Ubuntu Server.
• When installation is complete login and type:

     sudo su
     wget http://links.sanicki.com/kioskscript -O kioskscript.sh
     chmod +x kioskscript.sh
     ./kioskscript.sh

• Reboot and perform standard configuration steps from the documentation.
  
• Customize and create an installable disk image according to the directions in the documentation.
