Record Matching Rules for Authority records using MARC 001 field – to overwrite existing records.

Save
Stage MARC records for import and follow the steps to upload the MARC authority file.
Settings:
- Record type: Authority
- Record matching rule: AUTH001 (or whatever it was named)
- Action if matching record found: Replace existing record with incoming record
NOTE: The above won't work for Elasticsearch since Bug 30879 since that bug updates local-number indexes to type 'Number' and that field type does not include ci_raw handling which authority searching utilises. The work around is to use 'control-number' for your search index above and ensure it's mapped under 'Authorities' in the Elasticsearch configuration.
