Summary
- gmcharlt has finished merging the new acquisitions work by BibLibre into the current HEAD. **Please test thoroughly.**
- After picking through the patch queue for remaining bugfixes and doing final merges of pianohacker's syspref stuff and chris_n's labels work gmcharlt will tag an alpha release.
- A 3.2 branch will be created soon, allowing the HEAD to begin accepting patches for 3.4
- Regarding the vote on wiki re-licensing, thd reports that we have we have a majority discounting all LibLime employee votes.
- To date there have not been any dissenting votes.
- thd has contacted SFLC for an opinion on making the re-license retroactive in-spite of not being able to contact some contributors for their approval. We are currently in the queue and it may be a week or so before we hear from them.
- The prevailing opinion was to proceed forward with implementing the change which will probably take several weeks while waiting to hear from SFLC.
- Two things need to be accomplished to complete the re-licensing:
- Updating the footer to point to the GPL instead of CC-BY-NC-SA
- Updating the signup page for new accounts to mention the new licensing
- Some PHP coding changes will be needed which will require cooperation by LibLime in order to implement.
- tajoli brought forward concerns about maintaining the current database documentation. These were referred to the mailing list for further discussion.
- hdl_laptop reports that 3.0.5 is about to be released. Translations need to be updated to finalize.
- Roles for 3.4 were tabled until the next meeting.
- The next General IRC Meeting, 13 January 2010 is scheduled for 1900 UTC+0.
