FulfILLment
If anyone close to the FulfILLment project is attending it would be interesting to hear something about the project and how it can relate to Koha.
Scaling up
I'd be really interested in how Koha is used in large installations eg Kerala State public Libraries, Kenyan Union catalogue, NEKLS, Phillipines and Pakistan public libraries.
What decisions do you work through, issues to consider, configuration decisions / choices, managing budgets and funds with buyers over many branches or physical locations. How can Koha be configured or set up when different partners have different policies like rental charges, loan lengths, fine etc?
This could be a series of 4 short presentations, or a panel discussion or just one person could deliver it.
Koha acquisitions
We use acquisitions to manage all our purchases, budgets etc. We need to be able to trace the physical item on a book shelf, through Koha to show accession and purchase details and back to a paper invoice, then to actual payment through our financial system. Accuracy is critical. I don't know of many libraries that do. I could talk about it on our small scale if thats would be of interest to anyone but would love to hear how other libraries use it, manage budgets, funds, current and next budgets etc.
Printing Labels
I've love to sit in on a demonstration / take part in a tutorial on creating spine labels. Different layout options etc. Has anyone managed to do anything similar to http://www.colormarq.com/ because that would be mindblowing.
Customizing homepage OPAC
I'd love to see a talk on really good examples of glorious OPAC homepages, and a discussion about FOSS tools used to create them, methods etc. Really concentrating on maximising the built in configuration choices rather than (or maybe as well as) customized solutions.
Managing digital content
Is anyone doing anything clever or even just 'doing' eresources in Koha? Including ebooks, digital documents, database content, web resources etc.
RFID
What RFID options are working now with Koha? Has anyone got Techlogic, Envisionware. 3M, Biblioteca or any other mainstream (or even non-mainstream) RFID systems operating nicely. What about patron payment systems which the likes of TechLogic have developed; has anyone got that integrating with patron accounts?
