Is there any reason against using CSS::LESSp (https://metacpan.org/pod/CSS::LESSp) a pure perl based less to css compiler? (There's also a watcher written in perl - https://github.com/studentIvan/Perl-LESS-Watcher)... I'd be happy to write up a guide to using this as an alternative if there's not real reason not to..
