our proposition to move to solR includes a new admin tool to define all the search indexes and contents. In the meantime, we have added a syspref to replace the default one by a library-defined one (so the library can have the indexes they want on adv search. --paul_p 03:22, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Why not make the necessary changes to the main advanced search form? Is it because of the nature of the search or the nature of the search results? --Oleonard 14:16, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
I think it would be nice to have a pull down with some options in the cataloging search, but it would be also nice to have some configuration options for the Advances Search page. Control number is something I would really love to see there. --Kfischer 18:24, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
