Search authorities using keywords from same menu as keyword search RFC

Can consideration please be given to-

1. adding a system preference to enable authorities to be searched by patrons using the same drop down list as for keyword searches as opposed to the separate authorities search box. An option to make the separate authorities search box available for patrons to search should be retained.

1. adding a system preference to allow authority records to come up in results to help patrons find what they are looking for. A “more information” link or picture could appear next to the record instead of the usual “item type” picture so patrons can click on it to get further information using the authority record.
