Description
We intend to develop a new functionality to validate indicators depending on the field you're on according to marc21 rules. Something like the issue brought up on the bug 4888.
From the intranet section "MARC Bibliographic Framework" the values of the indicators will be managed depending on the field and the frameworkcode.
There'll exist two system preferences: "CheckValueIndicators" and "DisplayPluginValueIndicators" that will control whether the indicators will be checked against the defined ones and/or display the plugin with the indicators for the field we're focused on.
When you're cataloguing a bibliographic you'll have the possibility of open a pop-up to see and choose a correct value for the indicator you're focused. When you're going to save the record it will validate the indicators values and notify the wrong ones.
Can someone please explain 'Discharge'? I don't think this is the correct term for this function. in a library context discharge most commonly means 'return a book from loan' The description appears to be 'remove a patron plus extra functionality.
