With the release of 3.8.0 scheduled for April 23 2012, it's time to start thinking about roles for 3.10
Anyone who wants take on any of these roles is more than welcome to put their name next to one and perhaps link to their proposal.

- Assistant: Katrin Fischer, Marijana Glavica - offering to help setting up user accounts, permissions, help answering questions on the mailing list and IRC etc.
- Documentation Manager

- Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
- Ian Walls (incumbent)
- Assistant QA Managers
- Marcel de Rooy (incumbent)
- Jonathan Druart (incumbent)
- Mason James (proposed)
- Specific Module maintainers
- [Comment: Nobody volunteered for this position. The position has no description and has not been described in the workflow. (No response on my questions on the ml.) Should we not just remove it from the roles? -- Marcel 4/4/12]
